The role:
You will be working on a uniquely broad range of cases spanning a large variety of sectors, alongside a supportive, collegiate team.
Below are some of this role’s key responsibilities:
- Managing your own case load
- Looking after clients
- Delegating to and supervising more junior colleagues
- Assisting more senior colleagues on complex cases
- Court and mediation advocacy
- Drafting
- Negotiation
- Legal research
- Working with expert witnesses and barristers
- Supporting the firm’s business development activities
Your experience:You will be a qualified solicitor working in a specialist property litigation team. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and proactive, you will want to make an impact on a growing, boutique firm.
You will have a solid grounding in commercial landlord and tenant work and have experience of running your own cases as well as working alongside others.
Experience in residential and development issues (e.g. restrictive covenants) would be useful but not essential.
You will be able to demonstrate a track record of involvement in business development activities and, ideally, some successes.
