Founder and managing partner of Hägen Wolf, Matt Pugh, has been appointed as the new regional Chair of the Property Litigation Association (PLA) for the North of England.
The PLA is a professional membership organization for lawyers which was established in 1995 for legal professionals specialising in all aspects of commercial, residential, and agricultural property litigation. It plays a crucial role in campaigning for improvements in property law and the court system, while also providing its members with opportunities for education, training, networking, and resources to support their well-being.

Matt Pugh is the founder and managing partner of Hägen Wolf, a boutique law firm specialising exclusively in property litigation. Matt has over 20 years’ experience working as a specialist property litigator and has been ranked as leading individual in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for a number of years. He has particular experience acting for major transport operators and high net worth individuals.
Matt’s practice encompasses all aspects of commercial, residential and agricultural property disputes, including disputes concerning landlord and tenant relationships, boundaries, adverse possession, easements, ransom strips, trespassers, development contracts, restrictive covenants, nuisance, village green registrations and property-based professional negligence.
